FRIENDS !!! CLICK !!! DOWN !!! THANKS !!!

Outlander — talk about time travel! We wanted to do some ourselves to leap ahead to April 2015, when season 2 finally lands on Starz. The new trailer gives us plenty to look forward to as Jamie, the Laird of Broch Turach (Sam Heughan) and his back-from-the-future wife Claire (Caitriona Balfe) enact their plan to change the course of history and prevent almost 2000 Scots from dying in the losing and bloody battle of Culloden.

Claire, a married combat nurse, who has fallen back in time from 1945 to 1743 Scotland, and her husband Jamie, escape to France after Jamie’s rape and near death at the hands of sadomasochist English army officer Jack Randall. The fact that Jack’s a descendent of Claire’s 20th century husband, Frank makes the situation even more complicated!

Now, we see Claire transformed in France from her Scottish rags to fine French threads as she and Jamie take up residence as Parisian aristocrats. There, they make sure to befriend the throneless Bonnie Prince Charlie, who will lay claim to the thrones of Scotland and England leading to his invasion of Scotland and the disastrous Battle of Culloden

The trailer provides a delicious look at shirtless Jamie in bed with pregnant Claire, and the pair meeting the illustrious King of France, Louis XIV, as they plot to change the past and save the future of Scotland itself. But the best part of all is the trailer’s final flirtatious, sidelong look that Jamie gives Claire. Absorbing the sight of that handsome face framed in auburn curls is worth watching this intriguing Outlander preview. Now hurry up and arrive, April. Can’t wait for season 2!
